Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
Driving continuous improvement in academics and governance, as mandated by NAAC for every accredited institution.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is established as per the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to build and sustain a culture of quality within the institution. It works to channelise efforts and measures of the College towards academic excellence, ensuring that quality remains a continuous, institution-wide process rather than a one-time exercise.
Objectives
- Develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in institutional performance.
- Promote measures for academic and administrative efficiency.
- Ensure timely, efficient, and progressive performance of academic, administrative, and financial tasks.
- Build internal mechanisms for quality checks as a regular feature.
Functions
- Develop and apply quality benchmarks for institutional functions.
- Facilitate a learner-centric environment for quality education.
- Collect and analyse feedback from students, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) based on quality parameters.
